Terms
Terms & Conditions
These Terms explain the rules for using My Contact Profile, buying a subscription, publishing profiles and using the sharing features connected to them.
Last updated: 23 September 2026
About these Terms
These Terms form an agreement between you and the service operator identified in the Legal operator details block at the bottom of this page when you create an account, buy a subscription or use My Contact Profile.
If you use the service on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The service
My Contact Profile provides hosted professional contact profiles and tools for sharing them. Features may include a public profile address, permanent smart link, QR code, NFC sharing, downloadable vCard, Google Wallet integration, profile templates and privacy-first aggregate analytics.
The service is web-based. A recipient normally needs only a compatible web browser to open a public profile; QR, NFC and Wallet behaviour also depends on the recipient’s device and third-party platform support.
Accounts and account security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for protecting your password, second-factor credentials and access to the email account used for My Contact Profile.
- You must notify us promptly through the legal or support contact details if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You must be legally capable of entering into the contract that applies to your purchase or use of the service.
Profile plans and entitlements
The number of active profiles available to your account is determined by the profile quantity selected at checkout. Current paid plans may grant between one and five profile entitlements under the same account.
Each entitlement is for a separate profile row with its own public ID, public URL and permanent share identity. The price, billing period and included quantity shown at checkout are authoritative for that purchase.
Prices, payment and renewal
Prices and billing periods are shown before checkout. Payments are processed through the payment method offered at checkout, currently including PayPal. Availability of PayPal guest card checkout is controlled by PayPal and may vary by customer, country or eligibility.
Where the checkout creates a recurring annual subscription, it continues to renew at the applicable renewal price until you cancel future renewal. You may cancel renewal through the account or payment controls made available to you. Cancellation does not normally create a refund for an already completed payment unless a refund right or guarantee applies.
14-day money-back guarantee and statutory rights
We provide a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee for a qualifying new paid subscription transaction and for a qualifying annual renewal transaction. Each transaction has its own guarantee period; a later transaction does not reopen the guarantee period for an older payment.
The service is designed to become available immediately after successful payment. By completing checkout and using or activating the service immediately, you ask us to begin providing the service during any statutory cancellation period that may apply.
The voluntary guarantee is additional to, and does not reduce, any cancellation, refund, quality or other rights that apply to you under mandatory consumer law.
To request a refund or exercise a statutory cancellation right, use the account controls where available or the legal contact details shown at the bottom of this page.
Public profiles and your content
You choose what information to place on your profile. When a profile is active, the selected profile information and links are public and may be opened by anyone who has the profile address, QR code, NFC link or permanent smart link.
You retain ownership of content you upload or enter. You give us a non-exclusive licence to host, copy, resize, convert, transmit and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, back up and provide the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for all names, images, logos, contact information, links and other material you publish. Do not publish another person’s private information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission.
Public IDs, permanent links and search engines
Public IDs are subject to availability and platform rules. A public ID may change, but the permanent smart-link identity connected to your QR and NFC sharing is designed to continue redirecting to the current active profile.
Search-engine indexing is optional and off by default for profiles. We cannot guarantee that search engines, social platforms, archives or third-party caches will immediately remove information they previously indexed or copied.
QR, NFC and Google Wallet
QR and NFC tools provide a convenient route to your profile, but scan and tap behaviour depends on device hardware, operating-system settings, browser support, tag type, programming quality and physical placement.
You are responsible for testing a QR print or NFC card before relying on it or ordering a larger quantity. Making a compatible NFC tag read-only may be permanent.
Google Wallet is an optional third-party platform. Google controls Wallet availability, account eligibility, device support and platform rules. Using Wallet may require you to accept Google’s own terms and privacy information.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing or abusive activity.
- Do not impersonate another person or organisation or misrepresent your authority, identity, qualifications or affiliation.
- Do not upload malware, malicious links, content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights, or material you are not entitled to publish.
- Do not probe, overload, interfere with or attempt to bypass security, access controls, rate limits or technical restrictions.
- Do not use automated access in a way that materially degrades the service or attempts to collect private account information.
Suspension, cancellation and deletion
A profile may be suspended when the account no longer has the required paid entitlement, when payment access ends, when the account is deleted, or when suspension is reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk or a material breach of these Terms.
If paid profile access is lost, My Contact Profile-owned profile media is retained for a 30-day grace period. If qualifying access is not restored by the end of that period, the retained profile media may be purged.
We may preserve limited records where reasonably required for payment records, fraud prevention, disputes, security, legal obligations or enforcement of these Terms.
Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the service reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, hosting problems or third-party platform outages may temporarily affect access.
We may improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. If a material change affects a paid service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it and will not use these Terms to remove mandatory consumer rights.
Our intellectual property
The My Contact Profile service, site design, software, branding and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those rights to you.
You may use the service and generated sharing materials for your own legitimate personal or business profile sharing while your account is entitled to the relevant features.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including rights and remedies that consumers cannot legally waive.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by information you choose to publish, misuse of your account, incompatible or incorrectly programmed NFC hardware, third-party platform decisions, or events outside our reasonable control.
The service is a contact-sharing tool and does not verify a profile owner’s professional status, qualifications, identity claims, products or services. Visitors should make their own checks before relying on public profile claims.
Governing law and disputes
The governing-law and jurisdiction information configured for the service operator is shown with the Legal operator details at the bottom of this page. Mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country remain unaffected.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first using the legal contact details below so we have an opportunity to resolve it.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page. Material changes will apply prospectively and will not remove rights that have already arisen under mandatory law.
