My Contact Profile

Built for mobile, local and emergency work

A plumber’s contact card should be ready before the next urgent call.

Keep your phone number, service area, company details and website in one live profile. Put the permanent QR on a van, estimate, invoice or workwear, and use NFC when you meet customers face to face.

Contact priorities

What visitors should find quickly.

Call first

Make the main phone number easy to reach for urgent leaks, breakdowns and same-day jobs.

Service area

Show the towns or area you cover so customers can tell quickly whether the job is local.

WhatsApp or website

Give customers a simple route for photos, non-urgent enquiries, reviews or booking information.

Permanent QR

Where QR makes sense physically.

The QR points to your permanent smart-link identity, so the printed code can stay in place while the live profile changes.

  • Van doors or rear panels where the code can be scanned while parked
  • Printed estimates, invoices and maintenance paperwork
  • Boiler-room stickers, leave-behind cards or trade-show signage

NFC tap

Where NFC is useful face to face.

Program an ordinary compatible NFC card or tag with the same permanent smart link. No proprietary My Contact Profile hardware is required.

  • A reusable card handed over after a completed job
  • A phone case or key tag used during surveys and quotations
  • A counter card for plumbers who also run a showroom or trade desk

Google Wallet + Save Contact

Keep your own card ready, then let the other person save the details they need.

A Wallet pass keeps your permanent QR and core contact actions ready when you are quoting on site and do not want to search through bookmarks or messages.

Save Contact provides a vCard from the public details you chose to publish, so the recipient can store your contact without manually typing the fields.

  • Wallet keeps the permanent QR close on your own phone.
  • Save Contact exports the public contact details as vCard.
  • The recipient does not need a My Contact Profile app.

Profile recommendations

Keep the page useful, current and appropriate for public sharing.

01

List the main services customers actually call you for, such as emergency plumbing, boilers or bathrooms.

02

Use a clear service area rather than a vague nationwide claim.

03

Keep one direct number prominent and add WhatsApp only if you actively answer it.

04

Add a company logo or recognisable work photo so repeat customers know they have the right person.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I put the QR code on my van?

Yes. Use the permanent QR from your profile, keep a clear quiet zone around it and test the printed size from a realistic viewing distance before applying large graphics.

What happens if my phone number changes?

Update the live profile. The permanent QR and NFC smart link stay the same, so existing printed material and programmed cards do not need to be replaced.

Ready when you are

Build the profile first, choose the public details and sharing tools, then pay only when you are happy with the result.
